The reserch study entitled "Analysis of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in selected areas of Bulacan" was selected by the researchers, who are third year students of bachelor of science in nursing from Dr. Yanga's Colleges, Inc., school year 2007-2008, to establish fundamental knowlegde and understanding as to the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in the selected areas in bocaue, balagtas and malolos. It aimed to analyze, identityand evaluate the rate and prevalence of these leading causes of morbidity and mortality, whether or not, findings obtained showed correlation with each other. In particular, whether or not the variations of age group of the population has a significant relationship with the occurence and rate of morbidity and mortality causes and how these causes are prevalent in an urban or rural area.
