Due to the high prices of medicines in our country, many people cannot afford a cure for their illnesses. There is a bill on Cheaper Medicines in the Senate, but unfortunately, it is still being deliberated upon. Presently, many people are going back to the traditional way of curing illnesses, and one of these is the utilization of traditional herbal medicines.
The researchers became interested in the utilization of traditional herbal medicines in selected areas in Bulacan and made a study of it, including the illnesses cured by them. The study aims to be useful in the nursing service, nursing education, nursing research, - and to the community. This study was conducted on Malolos, Pandi, and Plaridel, where the respondents live. This research used the cluster sampling method. The instrument used was questionnaires (multiple choice-type). Percentage was used for the statistical treatment. Descriptive design was used as for the Research Design. This study was finished within three (3) months time.
