Abstract
This study to find out the common health problems among jeepney drivers with the route from malolos to malinta.
One hundred respondents were given questionnaires and interviewed in malolos city terminal with the age group ranging from 20 to 50 years ratified random sampling.
An open-ended quetionnaire and direct interview was used as the research instrument for the study to accurately get the information and gain proper observation to the respondents as well as their environment majority of the questions were focused on the variables presented.
The result shown that stress got the highest average mean in all age group and proven as the most common health problems among jeepney drivers. Hypertension ranked as the second most common, and vehicular accidentranked on the third. Urinary tract infection ranked as the 4th. Allergic rhinitis rankled fifth.
In COPD classification, asthma and arthritis, ranked sixth. Ulcer as the seventh and lower back pain at number eight. Pneumonia and bronchitis, and appendicitis in number ten.
Diabetes and prostate cancer had the lower average mean. It implies that lifestyle had a major impact for such diseases to develop including their invironments, distance/length of traffic and knowledge about hteir job and its risk. All necessitates to the development of disease.
