Abstract
The Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT) focus practices in seamanship, navigation, ship business, meteorology, and marine laws, and taught through classroom-based frontal instructions, regular hands-on trainings usually conducted in special laboratories, as well as simulation activities regarding the use of modern ship equipments like the RADAR, ARPA, and GMDSS communication. While the BSMARE centers on the construction, operation, and maintenance of different kinds of marine vessels such as cargo ships, cruise ships, fishing boats, battleships and submarines.
This program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to operate and maintain the different machineries installed in marine vessels, including the propulsion plant, adjunct and auxiliary machinery, electrical and refrigeration systems
Base on the Findings of the Researcher, Majority of the Respondent are male, and Both BSMT and BSMARE are more active in Non academic activities Than to Academic activities, and also the Researcher finds out base on the survey that BSMT was got the highest Total weighted Mean of 3.53% in academic performance compared to BSMARE with 3.35%
