Abstract
A good teacher must be the source of positive environment inside the classroom. But a best teacher inspires their students and talks about failure and how to recover them. And also, a best teacher shares their own failure and how did they overcome from a situation.
The study focuses on the Maritime Preferences on the qualification of instructors and its implication to the academic performance of the students: an evaluation.
The study was conducted to determine the implication of the preferences of the Maritime Instructors to the students. The researchers focused on the Maritime Professor and it is limited to the Second Year stud&nts of the College Maritime of Education.
This research study is limited to the Second Year students of the College of Maritime Education at Dr. Yanga’s Colleges Inc. It involved one hundred (100) BSMT students, and seven (7) professors with a total of 107 respondents.
The researcher found out majority that majority of the Professor/Instructor who are 51 years old copes with the young generation. They can catch a hundred percent student attention but fails to discuss its topic.
