Abstract
The study is entitled “The After Class activities of maritime students of Dr. Yanga’s Colleges Inc. and their perceived effect on their academic performance”. This research also wants to prove if there is significant effect on the academic performance of maritime students in their activities after class. In this study, the researchers make use of discipline and normative method. They randomly selected seventy-six (76) students of Bachelor of Science In Marine Transportation while twenty-four (24) students of Bachelor of Science in engineering. They utilized locally constructed questionnaire on the above respondents. According to the survey the student are engaging themselves in social interaction rather than going home early and doing their assignment based on the data and the survey that had been made and gathered, the researchers would like to offer some suggestion and recommendation, to the maritime students and to the College of Maritime Education for future improvement of students after class activities.
