Abstract
It shows fresh graduates acquire their first job with no relationship with their course. The study shows that the employment status of the graduates is not successful as expected. Factors of which contributes to the lowest rate of the employment status.
I may be a difference in the person (graduates) himself that he may not be open for opportunities for career advancement. The study identifies the factors affecting the employment status as well as the efficiency and proficiency toward workmanship. Based on findings, out of 20 respondents, 25% were employed, 60% were unemployed, their
main explanation was the lack of work experience and no job opportunity for them, and the remaining was never employed. The DYCI students should be oriented and encouraged to study hard and monitor quality education provided by the faculty. The
DYCI faculty should upgrade and improve the quality of teaching.
