Abstract
Tracer study is commonly as the institution records about the graduates employability status. The common goal of tracer study is to know if the graduates are employed or working in the field where their skills or finished course is fitted. Tracer study its own boundar, after tracing all the graduates employability status the study ends there. But researchers conducted a further typr of tracer study which includes graduates job performance. Graduates who were involved in this study are those graduates who graduated in SY 2011-2012,SY 2012-2013 and SY2013-2014. There are total of 98 graduates in the three consecutive academic years boith from bachelor of elementary education and bachelor of secondary education (Bs major in biology , Bs major in english, Bs major in Filipino and Bs major in mathematics).In SY 2011-2012Dr. Yangas Colleges, Inc.- College of education produced 20 graduates in SY 2012-2013they had produced 35 graduates and in SY2013-2014 they had 43 graduates. The study revealed that in 98 graduates of college of education 63 of them are working as a teacher, 25 are hired in a work far from teaching. There are 98 graduates who were found by the researchers and 1 graduate was recorded as decease. The study also revealed that there were graduates who take the licensure examination for teachers (LET), it shows that 79% had passed the LET and 21% failed to pass the licensure examination for teachers. The evaluation forms are prepared for all the graduates who currently working as teachers. The evaluation form consist of different teachers job performance divided into 10 sets, having a scale of 4. Evaluation forms revealed that teachers who were graduates of Dr. Yangas colleges, Inc. - College of education will oustanding and received very satisfactory in their performance. Morover, survey forms are intended for those graduate who not working as a teacher. Reseachers designed an evaluation which has 3 sets of question, these are graduates general information, educational background and employment data . Employment data revealed that the major reason why they are not working as a teacher and choose to stay on their current job is because of personal interest, second highest reason is because of friends or peer influence followed by salary and benefits .The four reason is because of friends . With this, the resarchers concluded that not all graduates are teachers and passed the LET. Graduates who are in the field of education were outstanding and performing very well. Researchers reccommended that further study be done to continue tracing all the graduates employability status and evaluate the graduates (teacher) job performance.
