Frequency distribution percentage, weighted mean, ranking,Pearson Product,Moment Correlation Coefficient and TWO WAY ANOVA were the tools used to organized and interpret the data gathered Study revealed that majority of the respondents was 19 yrs. Old with percentage distribution of sixty two percent. Age 19 years old dominated the sample population beacause on the educational system in the country.if continuous scholling pursue and conventional level of studying was followed it will be the age of the 4th year students at tertiary level, but it is not always followed that's why there is still deviation of age. It was also shown that female respondents dominated the sample population since the nursing profession was traditionally for female. The results of the study further indicated that in terms of obstetric and deliver room clinical exposures most of the students only have 6 days of affiliation at 11-7 shift which is insufficient to attain the knowledge they have needed. In addition the study also revealed that although the respondents are already 4th year students ,most of them do not have hepa B vaccine though it is needed especially those who have their clinical exposure to obstetric and delivery room.Lastly the study was able to prove that there is significant relationship between the profile of the nursing student of Dr. Yanga's Colleges Inc. and thei needs in the OB/DR exposure thus, rejecting the null hypothesis while no significant relationship was found between the needs of patient at Rogaciano M. Mercado Memorial Hospital. In line with all these , the nursing institutions are encourage to review the schedule of student clinical rotation instead of two weeks make it 1 month specificallyu on the special areas, implement mandatory vaccination of Hepa B before the clinical exposure, assigning of the student nurses in a grave yard shift sghould be equally distribute for them to have enough rest and sleep, and provide them a duty coat that makes them comfortable and free from dirt while they are on their way to the assigned hospital. The hospital of affiliation must provide a hazard free student lounge that is conducive to learning at the same time the institution are encouraged to provide lockers for the student to secure their belongings. The clinical instructor should encourage the student to directly involve themselves in the experience , in order that they gain a better understanding of new knowledge and retain the information for longer time .
