Absract
The main purpoise of this study is to design and develop an "rfid based-smart tickering system for German Espiritu Liner, Inc. The proponents considerd several system functionalities which were incorporated into the developt system as follows; pay fare thru tapping a card; no need to use cash for paying the fare; reloadadle smart card ; The operator can accumulate how many commuter a day there's no need for the conductor to hold the money for every passenger and the commuter just need to present the smart card.
The system can show the list or the total amount of the income for that day. This project can perform several functionalities in order to accomodate german Espiritu liner Inc. growing number of commuters. Only the assigned personnel of the said company can manipulate the activation and reloading of cards.
This also aoms tio increase customer convenience and eventually eliminate the use of paper tickets in transit system.
