Abstract
This study entitled, “the Advantages and Disadvantages of technology to IV Courage in the Year of 2009—2010” has the main objective to gather and interpret all the
data concerning on the effects of technology to people specifically, to high school students and to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of technology to high school students.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Specifically, this research sought to answer the following questions:
1. What are the advantages of technology to the students of IV-Courage?
2. What are the disadvantages of technology to the students of IV-Courage? 3. What are the difference of the advantages and disadvantages of technology to the students of IV-Courage?
4. Are there significant relationship between technology and other aspects such as:
4.1. age
4.2. gender
4.3. hoby
as perceived by the students of IV-Courage?
METHODOLOGY
The purpose of this study was to ascertain the advantages and disadvantages of .echxxlogy to TV-Courage in the year of 2009-2010 and their percepilon of the effects
. derived from these technologies. The descriptive survey was used to achieve the ectives of their study. The target population consisted of 52 students of TV-Courage of t. Yanga’s Colleges, Inc. High school department. From this target population, 46 were 5ekcted through the random technique and were used as samples. The set of questions .xusisted of close-ended questions were used in the survey. The data were drawn from 46 students of TV-Courage of Dr. Yanga’s Colleges, Inc. High school department of data gathered, the researcher utilized the percentage to quantify the data gathered for the sub-problems. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
Based on the statistical analysis and interpretation of data, the summarized

The respondents’ top answer was “always” with the percentage of 76% while the of the respondents’ answer was “sometimes” with 24% and the choice of the
respodents engaged in by 0 or 0%.was “seldom/ never”.
Sub-problem 2. What are the advantages of technology to the respondents?
The respondents’ number one choice of technology’s advantage was “it makes
easier and faster” indulged in by 70%, otherwise other agreed with the choice “it
to have relaxation and have fun” with the percentage of 48% and “it solves many
blems and develops skills and talents” at top three engaged in by 14 or 20%.
Sub-problem 3. What are the disadvantages of technology to the respondents?
The respondents’ top answer was “they use most of their time in surfing the net, playing computer games and playing audio players” with the percentage of 52%, second is they became dependent to technology” with the percentage of 46% and the answer they became less interested in studies” was engaged in by 14 or 28.
