Festival is one of the fastest growing tourism attraction today. Among the reasons for this are approach changes to urban management and economic production, the use of culture to restructure welath and job creation, civic re-positioning, and tourism development by cities and government. Consequently, there is a parallel increase in researchers interest toward evaluating the impacts that festival have on communities.
This paper examines the effect of the halamanan festival to the residents of guiguinto, bulacan on their socio-economic status.The study use descriptive method with the survey questionnaire and interview as data gathering instrument which was administared among 52 respondents.Data obtained from the respondents believed that the festival had an impact of socio-economic status of the municipality. It is also one way to attract more visitors and provide unique experience for visitors. Festival bring joy and happiness in their lives. As well as brotherhood and humanity among one another and live as one family and community. Halamanan festival increase therealtions among people. It also creates opportunity to the people of the community to share their feelings, perceptions and exchange their ideas and thoughts.
