Abstract
Swarm robotics is a new approach to the coordination of multi-robot systems which consists of large numbers of mostly simple physical robots. The desired collective behavior emerges from the interactions between the robots and interactions of robots with environment. This appraoch emerged on the field of artificial swarm intellinge, as well as biological studies of insects. ants and other fields in nature, where swarm behavior occurs. Individuals within the group interact by exchanging locally available information such that the problem (global objective) is solved more efficient than it would be done by a single individual. Problem -solving behavior that emerges from such interactions is called swarm intelligence.
The general objective of this research is to study and develop behavior of swarm robots and to provide a new approach in the coordination of multi robot systems, the aims to solve the problem in using single-robot system and to provide a solution with human intervention in solving different tasks.
Supported by the data obtained from the survey and information after the data are evaluated, the researches were able to justify in the study that swarm robot could be used in the field of agriculture and that the swarm intelligence was properly utilized in revolutionizing the process of farming. It is also justified in that study that multi robot system is better than single robot system. Most inportanly, the study shows the the development of the behavior of swarm robotic system
