The antique art hilot is to be considered mysterious that it can be used to heal many kinds of ailments through faith and physiologic healing. It has no written record that it is formally passed through lectures or menuscripts but it is an effective for the indigent.
The reserchers surveyed 70 mothers by which a quetionnaires includes the profile of the respondents and the second part includes the perceptions of mothers with regards the physiologic effect and psychological and spiritual effect of the hilot among their children. The data gathered was computed for its frequency and weighted mean and correlate through the statistical treatment. ANOVA statistical software computed the correlation and pairwise comparison of varibles.
Based from the subjective data collected by the researcher through the survey aid the researchers th conclude that the barangay taal has a strong perception on the ability of the hilot to cure their disease. The researchers recommended the further studies regarding the medicinal value of the hilot and the nursing implications that will help improve the health of the community as well as the nursing service in our countrty.
