Abstract
The evaluation and Maternal and child care in government and private hospital at Bulacan was the topic to be studied.
The individuals who participated in this study were women aged 15-45 years old and the newborn babies.
The researchers examined and assessed the probable signs/symptoms of pregnancy, and the pain they encountered. Women's definition of pregnancy, prenatal care has been evaluated. Self-explanation and definition rely or base on their previous experiences as well as they subjective definitions on maternal and child care. The researchers designated their experiences in pregnancy and maternal and child care through the following variables: no. of times of pregnancy, ages changes in their bodies, provided care they have chosen, birth settings and symptoms they experience during and while pregnant. The researchers also asked if there are any fetal abnormalities and other complications that they have experience.
The researchers focused on the supervision of the mother and child care. They also gathered information about private and government hospitals. They are some associations like the Philippine hospital association that serve as the primary organization that confers recognition and continuous support to public and private hospitals in the country. The Philippine Hospital Association has played an important role in ensuring access to health care among the public. It has collaborated closely to the concerned public sector agencies so that Filipinos are not deprived of their right to inexpensive quality health care.Today's reality make it doubtly difficult for hospitals to survive escape cost of materials and equipments and resources required to maintain quality services, so researchers had also asked some concerns about giving good and quality services. The researchers had also collected information concerning United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF). Hospital either private or government should stress that giving birth should be about giving life and stop giving up a life.
Therefore, the aim of the study is to point up on proper caring and nourishing the child as well as the mother to promote the health and well being of mothers and children in the country, to train safe nursing practice on maternal and child care. Dedicated to ensure quality health services to all Filipino mothers and children, this research is part of a larger study that deals with health and well being of women and children. It will make a beneficial contribution to the study of maternal and child care.
