Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the benefits of ecotourism in local community of Bulacan. The study also aims to recognizes if the local community of Bulacan Meets the benefits of ecotourism. The benefits of ecotourism are: Employment opportunities, it is a good chance for advancement or progress particularly for small and rural communities in their economy. Multiplier effect , it is the icreased spending . New Business opportunities, tourism can provide a range of new business, Community pride , Tourism can enhance community cohesion and pride. Broadening of social outlook, it is the benefits that bring new ideas and knowledge to the tourist as well as the local community. ENvironment, culture and heritage preservation, it is the preservation of cultural historical and natural resources and facilities which are central to tourism today. Greater focus on conservation, with it to improve and maintains the quality of natural resources at the same time new jobs and increased local income are generated. The researcher used the descriptive survey method to find out their perceptions about it. Majority of the respondents agreed that the local community of Bulacan meets the benefits of ecotourism. In line with this, we have to maintain our ecotourism to continuously meet its benefits.
