The physiologic-psychologic effects of menopause among women was the problem chosen by the researchers. This study was conducted to help the people in the community to better understand the effects of menopause in every woman.
The respondents of this study contribute 50 women, aged 40-55 years of Barangay Lolomboy, Bocaue, Bulacan. The researchers prepared a questionnaire that would somehow assess the respondents and to evaluate them on the effects of menopause to themselves.
Using the chi-square test, the researchers had proven that there is no significant relationship between the respondents profile and to the physiologic and psychologic effects of menopause. Therefore, the researchers recommend that there is a need for the improvement of the health programs about the effects of menopause in every woman in the said barangay in order for the society, families and individual to become more knowledgeable in the process so called menopausal period.
