Good value of a responsible mother reflects their coping styles and handling 4hs for their child. Despite of their eagerness to provide own ability in breastfeeding, it is hard when those factors of influential society came. Granted reasons e highly needed for decisional stage of a woman’s mind in this case.
Breastfeeding attrition is a cause of lacking their initiative to continue feeding their child as if they bond with them as a mother of a well practiced activity. They tend to stop breastfeeding for some reasons or experiences they may have, influence from the environment, early disadvantages of it specially their image or figure of womanhood.
In this research, conducted in Borol 1st, Balagtas, Bulacan is composed of 21 respondents proved breastfeeding attrition in their own ways of living. Hindrances like difficult time management, breast problems, inconvenience, dietary restrictions and money describes the respondent’s view with regards to the study. The type of questionnaire use descriptive method for breastfeeding mothers in the area. Having specific time frame, statements are understood in particular survey. The respondent’s profile like age, number of children and monthly income is tested to have an effect in some hindrances. But most of them have no relation in their profile considering that they have lack of knowledge in breastfeeding even though it is said to be very common.Variations of demanding cultures provide thoughts of incompetent beliefs. Some are just easy to conclude but individual has the most worth to initiate. Obviously, early discontinuing breastfeeding is a common occurrence at present thinking of another way in feeding, losing their ability to perform those tasks being superior or a woman with a highly ego demands. In application of Ramona Mercer’s theory of Anticipatory, Formal, Informal and Personal stages of acquisition, Maternal Role Attainment states that developmental and interactional process will serve as an outcome focusing breastfeeding attrition.
When social and physical problems gained, impatience for mothers illustrates their inability to cope. Encouragement speaks but it is their words that can stimulate their motherhood having the feelings and emotions themselves. Other people take breastfeeding as indecent in public, perverted or sometimes being laughed but naturally, mothers behaved as liking it considering that they are proud to be a mom. Grabbing the opportunity brought by the happiness of being a mother indicates their positive attitude. It is their chosen path to progress.
Describing the attitude of a woman in breastfeeding linked them to knowledge whether they quit or not. Factors or disadvantages may be with them but supported roles are appreciated. On the area of poverty, many unwanted pregnancies and difficult lifestyle showed a mistake of enabling factors for it. Change gives the idea of having own self feeding an infant. Places where they grow influenced their decision making as well.Reactions from the old ones are treated as ashes that will fade as time goes by.Sensitive minds from many mothers allow them on a curious matter, thinking the :st. Many questions are for study or for realizations probably from experiences and peer satisfactions. Women’s charm is always treated as their treasure physically. Men possess the warmth for their admirations until marriage. One reason is, mothers tend to think of her image after breastfeeding. They create a compatible understanding within themselves together with their husband. Having it inexpensive, another way in contrary is having their own job doing more practical providing needs of the family. Events from past experiences noticed their goals in the future, followed by the next generation.
