This study is prepared to educate the type 1 DM patients about the appropriate regimens that reduce risk of having further complications. Since theincidence of Type 1 Diabetes is increasing, people with the said disease must be taught how to properly manage their conditions. Patient’s education also help them to correct and improve their perceptions regarding their nditions.
The researchers made use of descriptive method, administering terviews and conducted survey to patients suffering from DM. The
informants dwell in Balagtas Bulacan.
The researchers recommend specific regimens and enumerate complications of the said disease for them to be aware. The patient must become aware and knowledgeable about nutrition, medications, exercise and prevention strategies.
The researchers suggested and proposed those regimens to the respondents because based on their learnings and experiences during their course of studies.
