Abstract
The study responded to the needed quality in education wherein it focus on the library of the DYCI college where suggested in reference to the Manual of Regulation for Private Higher Education written by Congressman Atty. Ulan, Ulpiano and the vision of the Commission on Higher Education for quality education in order to determine the assessment of the college library. The following problems where included, the profile of the respondents, the degree of satisfaction of the respondents and the extent of the needed improvements that has to be acted upon by the management. This study utilizes a descriptive survey quantitative study of the level three maritime students that was determine the getting the total population by using the sloven’s formula. The schedule of the respondents were provided by the college secretary which were initiated through a letter forwarded to the college dean. The questionnaires were distributed in their free time and where collected there after. The tabulations of data were done then the percentage and the weighted mean were used to answer the statement of the problems. The findings arouse after the interpretation and analysis was library facilities book collection, personnel/staff and service had a moderate satisfaction, and the computer system had a slightly satisfaction to the respondent. There by the recommendations drawn where the following that the personnel and staff should continue to give good services for the students in the library, that book collections be updated regularly in terms of text books, journals, references and magazines and other reading materials, that the computers used in the library must always be upgraded and hooked in the internet.
