Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate on how well the nurses comply with the Nursing Documentation Standards. Specifically, the researchers’ main reason is to increase knowledge among nurses and those who will be able to read this study. The study was done using a descriptive normative survey which the respondents from different hospitals in Bulacan, are asked to answer in full honesty.
Weighted mean, Person Product Moment Correlation and Frequency- Percentage were used to treat the data that was gathered. A perfect positive correlation was shown upon treatment of the data. This shows that there is a correlation between the profile of the nurses and their compliance to the standards implemented in Nursing Documentation. As nurses work in a given time frame, they are able to familiarize themselves with the policies, thus making them knowledgeable enough to cope up with the workload as well as taking care of the patient as seen through charting certain procedures done. The researchers came up to strong findings and conclusions that are Emportant for formulating certain recommendations to be given to the Nursing Service, Nursing Education, Nursing Research and Nursing Community. These Nursing Fields should work together to formulate an effective means on how to improve compliance of the said subject for the nurses and the nurses-to-be. Through this, quality management and care will be provided for the betterment of the patients.
