Abstract
Death is inevitable and can happen to anyone. It can me an emergent themes referred to be in the acronym of "CARE". Defined meaning of first avoided. Sudden loss of loved ones was deep form of emotions and death may come in different cases. Death or dying children was far different from an older one. Knowing the fact that they had lived in short span seeing the world without complete fluffiness, yet they saw things more positive and meaningful. In times, they are braver than anyone else. Reported deaths in pediatric was common in rural areas mostly in NCR regions. By then, researchers conducted a study on nurses who had cared for terminally ill or dying pediatric patients. This was done via purposive and snowball sampling. Participants were nurses who had handled a dying pediatric patient regardless of age but had deep experience in terms. Data gathered was supported through interview and recordings. Information needed was until it reached its saturation. Concept of this study was to know emotions and thoughts carried by them while giving care to an innocent dying child. Researchers selected thematic analysis by Billups (2016) and Van Manen (2015) ,contents analysis where documented in pattern. As such, researchers created formulated meanings through transcript data of the participants clustered it by themes and formed theme is "Conception in Dying Children" wherein how nurses see and how they describe death by their own were described. They acknowledge the acceptance of death and understand that it was part of life. Second theme is "Adaptation to the Present Situation" when nurses used their skills on how they manage and render care with the situation given. Third theme is "Regaining Equilibrium" wherein nurses know how to balance their emotions after handling a dying child. This includes their coping strategies. And last theme is "Enhancing Quality of Life" wherein they are relying on based experienced on what they could do more to enhance quality of life. Based on the findings, despite of all emotions they had encountered, whether if it's physical, emotional, spiritual, or intellectual feelings learned not to be carried away and suppress emotions because if they do so, they weren't able to function as a responsible nurse. Braveness seen comes with years of experience but know that nurses grieve also. For the future researchers, this could be U used as an outline for a purpose study similar with this.
