However, few issues are arising about its credibility and capability to lead people towards better business path. These testimonies create a doubt whether such business has a bad image or a bad reality. The researchers came up with the title “Multi-level Marketing: A Loss or an Opportunity?” to scrutinize and determine whether network marketing is a loss or an opportunity to those who engage and would like to engage in it. Technically, to be aware and knowledgeable of the business, the research is designed to be qualitative explanatory in nature. Hence, the primary tool used to conduct the study is the interview method whereas camcorder, audio recorder and questionnaires are also used as recording equipments. In addition, the locale of the study is in Bocaue, Bulacan where the researchers interviewed a total of nine (9) informants as guided by principle of data saturation. The researchers utilized the semi-structured type of interview in order to ask additional questions, and gather further responses. After the interview, all the data collected were transcribed, and video records were played to manually record the responses. In data interpretation, the researchers ensured to encode all the significant statements from the respondents; on the other hand, irrelevant statements were set aside. The researchers were able to form significant meanings and data clustering method with all the facts information given. As a result, there are three tables formulated with corresponding emergent themes derived from theme clusters. The following emergent themes are associated with the research questions. The first table represents the benefits of the opportunity that can be obtained from Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) industries, Financial assistance and self-development programs were recorded to be the best opportunity that the business offers. The researchers found out that the willingness and passion to do the work result to profitability and developed self-esteem. The second table is the drawback as an emergent theme showing all the struggles that hinder to the success of the MLM both in the inside and outside factors. It consists of the following factors that are said to be the main cause of the business leading to a loss. Lastly are the challenges to the networkers, people as customers, and the business itself is facing right now. Those are important in addressing the MLM to be recognized to create attainable solutions. The researchers concluded that MLM offers numerous opportunities especially to those who are eyeing for part-time jobs, provided the fact that the part as a networker is being sustained, and then earnings will follow. It also develops individuals to being business- person through training programs. All in all, it prepares every individual to a more complex task entering the corporate world.
