Computerized Patient Records and Information System with Barcodes Security Access is an innovative system intended to help the Marilao St. Michael Family Hospital in having a more confidential and advance way of maintaining patient’s records and information, The proposed study was chosen by the proponents because they want to help the Marilao St. Michael Hospital in having an automated system and to get rid of manual system usage. The proponents believed that having the computerized patient records and information system with barcodes security access will provide great enhancement of the hospital process especially on the records confidentiality.
It. not only helps the patient and medical personnel but also help the institution in aiming to reach its goal to cope up with the advancement of the technology. Second, it will greatly help the hospital in upgrading the security of all patients’ records and also it will give a big help to the medical team in searching for the previous visits and medical history. By using the system, the viewing of the patient’s records will be easy.
