Abstract
The growth in the tourism and hospitality industry caused a tremendous increased in a number and type of tourism and hospitality programs at two and four year's colleges in the Philippines. Choosing the right career path is becoming more and more important for young students today. The students has to take into account many things when choosing a career college major. Many factors can influence a students decision including parents, coaches, religious figures, or any role models in a student's life. Participation in clubs can also have an effect on students career choices. The Objectives of this research study were to determine what factors affects BSHRM students choice of career path. A questionnaire was developed to examine areas of interest in attributes that may have influenced students when choosing a career path to determine difference in colleges choices among the second year and third year students. The result of this research will be beneficial to colleges in the development of appropriate promotions to differentiate themselves in a meaningful way to potoentials student, not in just in the Philippines but also over the world.
