Abstract
Descriptive research refers to the type of research question, design and data analysis that will be applied to a given topic. This research can be either quatitative or qualitative. It can involve collections of quantitative information that can be tabulated along a continuum in numeral form. Its involve gathering data that descriptive events and then organizes, tabulates and describes the data collection. And the descriptive function of research is heavily dependent on instrument for measurement and observation.
This study "Factors for effective food preparation and food service at KFC and Mang Inasal"is descriptive research which aims to answer the major problem how do factors for effective food preparation and food service in KFC and Mang Inasal? And sought answer to the following specific problems: 1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of the following? a. Age b. Civil status c. Gender: 2. What are the factors for effective on food preparation and food service? 3. How does the staffs prepare and serve the food in there station.
A total of (50) service crews of Mang Inasal Sta. Maria Bulacan, Mang Inasal Walter mart Sta. Maria and KFC Walter mart Santa Maria.
The data were gathered through a homemade questionnaires which were formulated by the researcher, checked and approved by the professor and were administered to the respondents
The data were presented in tabular and textual form, analyzed and interpreted statistically.
Statistical measures such as frequency, mean, mean rating, percentage and rank were hypothesis of the study were tested using the chi-square test.
