Abstract
An Evaluation of the Health Programs of Bulacan Provincial jail was the topic to be studied. The subjects were the 244 inmates randomly selected from the twO thousand two hundred twenty-three (2,223) population of Bulacan Provincial Jail. Each group consisted of 122 male and 122 female and of legal age.
The researchers were given the opportunity to evaluate the jail’s health program of Bulacan provincial Jail through administering a translated Tagalog survey questionnaire, validated by the researchers’ professor adviser, to the inmates of Bulacan Provincial Jail. There were 3 major parts of questionnaire, sanitation, health provision and nutrition and all in all there were 17 questions answerable with the choices labeled as Always, Sometimes and Never. The researchers used the Descriptive Method. A descriptive research design is a non- experimental design that involves studying a population or universe based on the data gathered from the sample drawn.
Health programs of Bulacan Provincial Jail garnered a satisfactory mark of implementation. The researchers thus conclude that most of the health programs were not implemented all the time. Some were prioritiaed while others were lagged in terms of implementation. Thus, the health programs of Bulacan Provincial Jail are midway before rarely and excellently implemented.
